Introducing the Merchant Collective by Pixel Union and Out of the Sandbox
In light of prolonged social distancing measures, we know how easy it can be to feel disconnected from your local community. After all, as a business owner, the relationships formed with customers and other entrepreneurs are ones you deeply cherish. Thus, it is with great excitement that we’re announcing our Merchant Collective initiative, in partnership with our friends at Out of the Sandbox.
The Merchant Collective is a community where merchants can connect with each other through an online forum, in addition to promoting their stores and relevant offers. To encourage open conversation, we’ve included two channels for doing so...our Town Square and Town Hall. In our Town Square section, we encourage merchants to share their story and promote their business. Within the Town Hall, you’ll find useful information and resources for setting up and optimizing your online business, including topics related to COVID-19 and its impact on merchants. Both sections are identical in that we welcome merchants to participate in respectful discourse via commenting on threads and starting your own should you wish to do so!
In addition to helpful resources and a merchant forum, we also have a Staff Picks section on our homepage, where we will feature up to 6 merchants every week who are going above and beyond to serve their customers. Merchants selected for our staff picks section also have the opportunity of being featured in our weekly newsletter, which is broadcasted to our audience of 200,000 community members. Talk about brand exposure!
To join the collective, simply visit us at https://community.merchant-collective.com/hc/en-us. Once you've created your free profile, be sure to add your store and share your story in the Town Square forum where others can see it. This is just one of many ways you can utilize the platform to connect with other merchants and promote your business. We hope to see you there!
