A fresh experience for Theme Store themes
We’re excited to share that our Pixel Union themes now offer an even better browsing and installation experience on the Shopify Theme Store. Thanks to Shopify’s latest upgrade, each theme preset (formerly known as a theme style) is now listed as its own theme. This makes it easier for you to find exactly the look and feel you want for your store.
Easier discovery, smarter search
Before, each theme had multiple presets you could preview on the demo store. Now each of these displays as an individual listing in the Shopify Theme Store. This means you can search directly for the aesthetic that fits your brand.
With smarter filtering (for industry fit, catalog size, and features) finding your perfect starting point is faster than ever.
What’s changed for our themes
Here’s how our Pixel Union themes now appear in the Theme Store:
- Empire now appears as: Empire, Depot, Circuit, and Forma
- Atlantic is now: Atlantic, Plush, Cotton, Atrium, and Parfum
- Editions includes: Editions and Opal
- Tailor offers: Tailor, Lycra, and Nylon
- Startup includes: Startup, Travel, Duvet, and Comfort
- Grid shows as: Grid, Flora, Knoll, and Ember
Each of these new listings features the same great features, flexibility, and support you’ve always enjoyed from Pixel Union themes.
One purchase, each style
There’s no change to how your license works: when you try one of these new listings (e.g. Circuit), you also get access to all the other styles under the same theme family (Empire, Depot, Forma). This gives you the freedom to explore different looks and switch between them whenever you like.
